About the Opportunity
The Ship Operating & Training Support (OS&T) Lead is a key leader within the Integrated Product Support (IPS) Team. The OS&T Lead drives Operating and Training outcomes for a shipbuilding program, influencing design for supportability, and ensuring the crew is fully prepared to operate, and maintain, their Mission System through its Introduction into Service (IIS) through to its transfer to the customer’s custody. The OS&T Lead provides operational leadership in the development and integration of the Mission System Operating and Maintenance procedures, training curriculum, and associated Technical Data within the Integrated Product Support (IPS) framework. The OS&T Lead reports to the Strategic Shipbuilding Operating Support & Training Manager, supports the assigned Shipbuilding Product Support Manager, is supported by a ship-specific OS&T Team and collaborates closely with the other IPS disciplines.
